Breathwork for Couples
The method

Soulsation™ for couples

A breath and sound journey where two people move energy through the body at the same time, and arrive somewhere neither reaches alone.

What it is

Soulsation™ is a proprietary breath and sound method I created, combining a specific breathing technique with music chosen for each energy center, guiding you through the body from the base upward into release and presence.

The full method

The couples version is a different animal. Alone, you move your own energy. Together, you activate each other’s. Two nervous systems finding one rhythm, two bodies opening at the same time. Couples describe it as being somewhere together rather than lying next to each other, and it is why I stopped treating the couples work as a variation and started treating it as its own thing.

Who it is for

  • You love each other and have not been in the same room properly in months
  • Sex has become logistics, or stopped
  • One or both of you lives in your head and cannot get down into your body
  • You have done the talking, therapy, books, the long conversations, and something still has not moved
  • You are fine, actually, and you want more than fine

Who it is not for

It is not the right room if either of you is in active crisis, if there is ongoing betrayal that has not been addressed, or if one of you is being brought here by the other.

Both people have to want it. Not equally convinced. Both choosing.

If there is serious rupture between you, do the therapy first. This work is very good at opening things. It is not designed to hold a crisis, and I will not pretend otherwise.

What couples describe

Waves of tingling. Colour and imagery. Emotional release with no reason attached. Heat, or cold, or both. The sense of being with your partner somewhere that is not the room.

And most consistently, days later, conversation that suddenly works. Not because anything got resolved. Because something underneath it moved.

Before you start

Breathwork has real contraindications. Cardiovascular conditions, pregnancy, epilepsy, recent surgery, glaucoma, history of psychosis. I ask about all of them first. Some mean we modify. Some mean this is not the right time, and I will say so.

Full safety information

I am a facilitator and a certified coach, not a therapist. This sits alongside couples counselling, not instead of it.
